Anything goes in this dizzying, dazzling return to the radio
daze of the roaring twenties. In this gender-bending-scintillating-sort
of seedy (in a Brechtian way) physical musical, you'll meet
an unlikely pair who are trying to make it big over the airwaves. To
broaden their appeal, they plan to wed during a broadcast. Problem
is, they're both gay, and both have significant others to occupy
their free timeù which they spend with gay abandon in
Harlem and in back-alley gin joints.
The twist at the end is blissfully unexpected. |
