Phaedra's Dilemma was titled not after the myth, but the after the affliction of the Greek woman who tragically fell in love with her step-son. This work was created during a fast-paced seven-week workshop geared towards the creation of an original physical theater piece. The goal was to blend dancers with actors in the attempt to learn from each discipline and express the subtle and not so subtle nuances of longing, love, and hatred that accompany attachment. Impermanence is the only truth, but here comes that conniving Cupid again...
